Scared Of Answering Question In Class? Here are ways to boost your self confidence
Sometimes a lack of self-confidence is merely a result of a lack of experience. You may not feel so confident about answering questions out loud, or taking part in a debate if you’ve never done it before. These feelings will change as you grow and experience more things in your life.
Sometimes, however, a lack of self-confidence come from bad feelings we have about ourselves, which we bury deep inside. When we do this, we tend not to assert ourselves and take chances because we fear our “secrets” will be revealed. This also is normal and common.
But it’s a normal feeling that you can and should change!
1. Identify the Cause for Your Lack of Self-Confidence
If you have a fear that people will see your faults, you will find it difficult to assert yourself. In building self-confidence, your first goal is to develop a realistic understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, which may involve the difficult first step of looking inside yourself to discover why you feel this way.
2. Face Your Fear
To get started, go to a quiet and comfortable place and think about the things that make you feel bad about yourself. These things could stem from your complexion, weight, a bad habit, your perceived intelligence, a family secret, abusive behavior in your family, or a feeling of guilt over something you’ve done.
It can be painful to think about the root of your bad feelings, but it is healthy to root out something that is hidden deep inside and work through it.
Once you have identified the things you feel bad or secretive about, you will need to determine what you can do to change them. Any action you take—even the act of thinking about your problem—is a step toward getting it out in the open and thrashing it out.
Once you have a full understanding of your problem, you will find that your fear decreases. When the fear goes away, the hesitation goes away and you can and will start asserting yourself more.
3. Celebrate Your Strengths
You also have great aspects about yourself that you need to explore, not just your weaknesses! You can start doing this by making a list of things you have accomplished, and the things you do well. Have you ever taken the time to explore your strengths?
You were born with some natural talent, whether you have discovered it or not. Do you always make people laugh? Are you artistic? Can you organise things? Do you write well? Do you remember names? Have problem solving skills? All of these are things that can become very valuable as you get older. They are skills that are absolutely essential, and if you can do any of them well, you have traits to cherish!
Once you have taken the two steps above, identifying your weakness and identifying your greatness, you will start feeling an increase in your confidence. You decrease your anxiety by facing your fears, and you start liking yourself better by celebrating your natural strengths.
4. Change Your Behavior
Did you know that we can change our feelings by changing our behavior? You can speed up your path to increased self-confidence by changing your behavior.
Try smiling more. This will help you fight off feelings of negativity.
Compliment others on their strengths. You’ll find that other people will return the favor and compliment you back. We all like to hear good things about ourselves!
Exercise and get enough sleep, as these greatly improve our moods. You’ll feel better inside and outside and look better too!
Take time every night to plan for the next day. By planning ahead you avoid mistakes that make you feel bad about yourself.
As you go through the process of improving your self-image and increasing your self-confidence, try to think of yourself as a separate person. Picture yourself as a stranger who is on a path toward positive change. Be sure to celebrate this person’s accomplishments! You are more than you think!!

Nigerian Bride-To-Be Returns From Church, Had Lunch, Went To Sleep, Then This Happened
Joy Chinonye Nnokam from Rivers State died in her sleep, on 10th of December 2017. According to reports from her friends, Joy returned from Church on that fateful day, had lunch with her family, and went to bed to sleep. but she never woke up. She was preparing for her wedding scheduled for sometime next year.

“Chai!!! I can’t believe am really writing a tribute for Joy Chinonye Nnokam. Hey!!! Knowing u was the best thing that have ever happened me.
A friend like no other, a friend with a good heart, u are one of those who still make me want to come back to Port Harcourt.
We chatted just last Friday,we did video call and I even told u that I was missing u, we planned seeing next year but u never waited. Having u around me was all I ever wanted. She can apologize for every little offense,whether right or wrong, she hardly frowns, hard working, dedicated to the core.
Nonye we were planning for u wedding come next year,what happens to our plans. U went to church yesterday like every other worshipper, u danced and sang worship songs in church, little did u know it was ur last,u went home had ur last lunch and spoke with ur family before ur demise,u wanted to have just nap but unknown to u that ur will take a long journey to the world beyond.
I even saw u online few mins to ur departure. Nonye I wish is not true,I wish its just a rumor, I won’t mind if ur enemies framed the story, Death wat on earth is ur problem, my friend turned sister lying helpless in the mortuary God have mercy. Update! G-worldwide Serves Kiss Daniel Court Papers
After weeks of hide-and-seek, popstar, Anidugbe Daniel, aka Kiss Daniel, has finally been served court papers by his estranged label, G-Worldwide Entertainment.
A Federal High Court in Lagos had on November 30, granted an order that all parties should maintain the status quo pertaining to the contract that was initially signed in 2013.
However, Daniel had allegedly refused to personally receive the court papers for some weeks, which led the court to grant an order of substituted service, that the papers should be pasted on the gate of his house in Lekki Phase Two, Ajah-Lekki, Lagos, and in a national daily.
According to the label, the court papers were pasted on Daniel’s gate on Friday, December 15, 2017. Meanwhile, in the writ of summons served on the artiste, the court ordered Kiss Daniel to make an appearance before it within 30 days of receiving the court papers, or the case would go to trial in his absence.
Other papers served on the ‘Mama’ singer include order for substituted service, writ of summons, witness list, witness’ statement under oath, status quo order, among others.
Calls put through to Kiss Daniel were not answered, neither was a text message responded to as of the time of filing this report.

‘Antonio Conte Is Tougher Than Jose Mourinho’- Former Chelsea Star John Terry Speaks
Conte led the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge, despite switching to an unfamiliar 3-4-3 formation.
Terry, who joined Aston Villa last summer on a free transfer, insists Conte’s preparation is extremely tough.
“[It’s] not hard at all [to play under Conte],” Terry said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
“His training is very tough.”
Terry added it was indeed more tasking than Mourinho’s training sessions.
“Yes,” Terry replied when asked whether the Italian’s training was harder than Mourinho’s.
“Tougher than most, physically tougher, more demanding, a bit more running, which is normal for Italian coaches.
“Tactically a little bit more, but I think you can see, when you’re a player, working 45 minutes to an hour every day on your tactics and you see that benefit at the weekend, you don’t mind doing it.
“He’s got a real good balance and he makes it enjoyable week in, week out.”

Transfer News! Chelsea Target Aubameyang Signs New Contract At Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has extended his contract till 2021.
The Gabonese International, who has been linked with a move in January, has signed a year extension.
Chelsea and Italian club AC Milan are interested in signing him in January, 2018 but the 28-year-old has extended his contract at the German club thereby ending reports that he could leave in January.
Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc told Sky Sports that Aubameyang has signed a new contract.
“The contract runs through 2021 and that’s still a long way away. One day, he will certainly leave Borussia Dortmund as he won’t end his career here.
“He’s an extremely important player for us, and we will continue to plan with him,” Zorc said.
